What We Do

Changing Lives, One Community at a Time

At Nickie Community Empowerment and Peace Foundation Uganda, we deliver hope where it’s needed most. Through education, mentorship, skills training, food relief, counseling, and advocacy, we empower vulnerable children, women, and youth to rise above poverty and build sustainable futures.

Education

We provide educational support to vulnerable children and youth through school fees, scholastic materials, and mentorship programs. Our goal is to eliminate barriers to education and nurture a generation equipped with knowledge, confidence, and hope for a better future.

Economic and Social Justice

We work to eliminate systemic barriers that keep communities trapped in poverty and inequality. Through advocacy, awareness, and grassroots mobilization, we champion the rights of the marginalized and amplify the voices of women, youth, and vulnerable families.

Community Health Programs

Our health outreach initiatives focus on mental health awareness, hygiene education, access to basic healthcare, and psychosocial support. We prioritize the well-being of vulnerable populations, ensuring they receive the care, knowledge, and support needed to thrive.

Livelihoods and Partnerships

Our livelihood initiatives provide vulnerable groups with tools, resources, and training to start income-generating activities. We also form strategic partnerships with local leaders, businesses, and global supporters to enhance impact and long-term success.

Gender Equality

We promote gender equity through programs that challenge stereotypes, support girl-child education, and equip women with skills and leadership opportunities. We believe that empowered women create stronger families and more resilient communities.

Capacity Building and Training

We empower individuals with hands-on training in leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, and practical life skills. By building local capacity, we strengthen self-reliance and enable communities to drive their own development.
